Jessie L. Simpson received her law degree from The George Washington University School of Law in Washington, D.C. in 2005. Her law degree includes credits earned while studying International Human Rights Law at the University of Oxford, in Oxford, United Kingdom.
While studying law in Washington, DC, Ms. Simpson had a legal internship with the Department of Justice. She was also awarded an Equal Justice Fellowship and completed her Fellowship work with CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of D.C. Before moving to the Kansas City area, she taught Civil Law and Civil Procedure classes at Gibbs College in Vienna, VA.
In 2006, Ms. Simpson joined the Missouri Bar and began working for Withers, Brant, Igoe & Mullennix, P.C. a firm in Liberty, MO. In 2007, she left the Liberty law firm and pursued a career in the private aviation industry. In 2008, the Law Office of Jessie L. Simpson opened its doors in Kearney, MO. Ms. Simpson also continues to teach. Currently, she is an adjunct professor at Avila University.
